National Secretary, Council of Ulama, Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’ah Wa Ikamatiss Sunnah (JIBWIS),
Sheikh Alhassan Sa​e​ed ​is dead.
The renowned Islamic scholar died at the age of 63 in Kano ​Wednesday evening​.
His death was confirmed by his eldest son, Abdulbasit Alhassan Saeed.
The cleric had attended a Council of Ulama meeting in Jos on Tuesday and ​returned to Kano ​hours before he passed away.
​L​ate Sheikh Saeed was also the co-chairman, Council of Ulama, Plateau State and the ​organisation’s ​national Director of Education.
He survived by his wives and many children​
